I’m Johanna Cunniff, a painter and ceramic artist based in Dallas.

My work is inspired by the beauty of nature. I like to think of my landscapes as land “escapes”. The goal is to provide the viewer the opportunity to rest, reflect, and refresh in a moment of peace.

I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. I work mostly in acrylics. Also, I am prolific in other mediums: primarily ceramics. My images are collected from my travels and my imagination. I’m especially fascinated with the beauty of big skies, bluebonnets, live oaks, and the natural environment of Texas.
